Costs more than they said in Canada

I ordered acai product & found the $5.00 postage & handling went up $10.00 since I wasn't in the U.S. Funny thing is it was mailed from Ontario. Decided I didn't like the product & mailed it back as instructed...costing $12.00 from B.C. to Ont. Total cost for my "free" product...$$27.00 for nothing. Hopefully they will reverse my next month charge as promised in the ad. I found absolutely no difference in energy or health benefit (other than extreme diarreha) and will definitely look a lot closer at "deals" in the future. Hope you will too!

had a similar situation with charges after cancelling another product. went to bank and they had VISA investigate and they made the call to the company.

I finally got my charges dropped and reimbursed the bank fees because they overdrew by making all their countless charges to my bank card.

CALL VISA about the fraud. Maybe they'll get your money back.

Acai Berry is a rip off!

I tried to cancel my "trial period" and was kept on hold for 55 mins to be put on hold again. I was told that everything was spelled out on the website and i would not be getting a refund (79.95) as i did not return my product before the trial period was over. Hmmm...trial period is for 15 days...begins the day you place your order...product arrives 14 days after you order it. what's up with that...i hope they do have a class action suit against them! I'd file! so i will check back to see how it's going!

Central Coast Bust/You can return the product but ya ain't gettin your cash back!

I have come back to let everyone know the latest in my continuing saga with this company. After attempting yet another follow up on receiving my refund, their latest correspondence to me is that too much time has passed; there will be no refund. How do you like that for tying it up in a nice neat little bow? Please believe these people do not care about anything except getting your money. I read somewhere that their customer support people consists of an outside service. I have also read some other nightmares that people have gone through with them and I now count it as a blessing that I only lost about $25. It's really too bad the company is so sneaky and uncaring, but that is the reality. Regardless, do not do business with them because you will more than likely regret it over time.

AWESOME NEWS!!! CCN Finally Busted!

Check out the September/October issue of AARP’s magazine; page 18.

Central Coast Pharmaceuticals has finally been busted. A civil suit was filed in Arizona and as a result, CCN has to pay out $1.4 MILLION! Yes, $1.4!!! It might be too late to be eligible for restitution but call 800-352-**** or visit azag.gov and find out.

The other amazing thing that tilted the whole thing was when the credit card companies found out what CCN was doing, they dumped their merchant account within hours. American Express was one of the first to do so and others followed.

This is AWESOME news folks! Thank you Terry Goddard-Arizona’s Attorney General.

Acai Berry Scammed me $78.81 a month

I recently ordered Acai berry from advanced wellness reasearch. The website says a one time charge of $4.99 for shipping and handling. Ok for 4.99 I'll try it! I recieved the capsules in the mail about a week later. 2 weeks later I have a charge on my bank account for $78.81, so of course I call the number and the first time the woman acted like she couldn't hear me after I told her there were unautharized charges on my accont from this company ( Advanced Wellness Research). I hung up and called back I got a different person, he informs me that once I commit to the free trial I'm bound to an agreement of monthly shipments of $78.81, Now I'm really frustrated...............So now I'm stuck with this monthly payment??? I also ordered the Colon Cleanse, and wow! same exact thing Free trial just pay $4.99 for shipping and handling. This one is $78.88 a month. So now I'm in debt of $157.69 a month. How are company's aloud to do this?

Cancel your credit cards so they can't charge you. Then file a dispute with your credit card company for those charges.

Acai Scam-had to cancel my card. Bastards.

I tried to do the free trial and was bombarded with phone calls up to 15 times a day for the next two weeks in addition to being repeatedly charged for additional bottles. I cancelled my card and have filed complaints. We'll see if it gets me anywhere. The bottle that I had also failed to live up to it's reputation and I did not see any real results. I truly wish that I had not ever taken advantage of this offer. Be aware that this is a fraudulent organization and you will probably lose money of you take advantage of this "so-called' offer.

Natures-acai keeps charging my credit card without my authorization

I had the same problem with them charging my credit card $85.91 without my authorization last month. I've tried to call them several times, they hang up after it rings a few times. I've emailed them told them to stop!! I called my credit card they are disputing it for me. Now this month they have charged the $85.91 again, plus 29.95, plus 2.95. called my credit card again they are going to close my acc't, said it was probably only way to get it to stop. Don't let this happen to u.

I too fell for this scam and have now been charged three times for a product that I canceled. I contacted my credit card company and they removed the charge while waiting for proof from me that I did not order this product.

I thought a good way to prove my claims was to print out some of the complaints I have found on this web site.

I was sent the initial so called "free" product and paid the $4.95 shipping charge, I was then charged two more times yet only received one bottle and then after looking at my latest billing statement, I realized that they charged me for two bottles in less than 20 days.

I don't know that it will do any good but I will report them to the better business bureau. Little sneaky the way they insert in such small print at the very bottom of the web ad that we will automatically be sent this product every month.

I knew right away I had made a mistake in ordering Acai Berry. It arrived with no invoice or instruction.

Just a bottle of Acai Berry capsules.

It did absolutely nothing for me. How you get ahold of them to cancel?

Guest

I ordered the so-called trial bottle for $3.95. I noticed my account was charged $87 & some odd cents.

I called them to cancel, I held on the line for over 30 minutes, they finally answered & I MADE them cancel this scam so I wouldn't be charged any more. They kept telling me they couldn't find my account. They finally found it, I made them give me a cancellation number & told them if I get charged again, I work for an attorney & I would bring the wrath down on them. They told me that this *** isn't a rip off.

You have to read the "fine print". If you click on "Terms & Conditions" it tells you plain, upfront & in big letters that you will be charged.

Who in the world reads "Terms & Conditions" on something like this? I feel like a big dummy but I'm not being charged anymore.

Acai took my money

Acai is not real weight loss. They took the 4.95 for the shipping and handling of the free 60 day trial and i just checked my bank statement and the JERKS took 59.95 out of my account. Don't fall for this scam like i did. it's a scam as i saw this whole show about it the other night on the news. the news was talking about how the girl in the ads was actually photoshopped into the ads. that the acai berry does not help you lose weight at all. this is truely a scam a really really bad scam.

Acai berries scam

I ordered the free sample of Acai berries. I looked carefully for the loopholes and didn't see the fine print that apparently wasnthere. Soon I was charged $87.13 for one bottle! Then 2 weeks later I was sent another bottle and charged $87.13. An invoice was not included in either shipment. From the shipment I had no idea what the charges were. I tried calling the customer service number several times and couldn't get through. Yes, I was probably naive, but I would like to warn everyone not to be a sucker like I was. The only way to cancel was to phone them or e-mail and I couldn't find an e-mail address on the website.

Took My Money!!!

I ordered Acai berry and power flush, did not read fine print, did not get email confirmation of order on power flush, but did on Acai berry...noticed i was enrolled in some fit program I did not order....caught the scam called and canceled all three...later was charged 89.00 and they claimed they did not hear from me and they are not related, refused to give company information...I threatened to get info from state treasury dept, file with BBB, get an attorney and start a long train of other victims...refunding my money sounded good all of a sudden, I did have to ship item back with tracking number, which cost 20.00, and was given the run around 3 times after given tracking info, but I got my money back! (I noticed in all three debits on my checking account, they had different names and phone numbers, but debited account info was the same...I believe that helped confirm scam.

Acai took money from my account

Took the trial offer January 15, 2009 and to receive item January 18, 2009., and was charged $5.95 for shipping-This I understood. Did not receive product so I contacted the company on January 30, 2009 at 9:15 a.m. to cancel the order since my 15 day trial was about to be over and spoke with a lady by the name of Mac. She stated it would be cancelled as of this date-January 30,2009. I specifically asked her if there was anything else I needed to do and she told me N0. Due to personal reasons, I was not able to check my financial records and when I did, there were withdrawals of $88.62 and $2.66 on 2/12 and $94.57 and 2.84 on 2/20. I contacted the company and spoke with a guy by the name of Eric who told me that due to the fact I didn't get a confirmation #, I would be responsible for these withdrawals. By the way, received first shipment February 2, 2009 way past the free trial period. So yes, I'm very, very angry and would like to let other people know of this scam. I did receive a confirmation code 2nd time I called and spoke with Eric but I don't know if this will be stopped. Please let everyone know of this farce.

I was a victim too. Same story, got the free sample, just pay shipping of $3.95, didn't know of the cancellation bit.

Tried to get my "Iron Clad" 60 day money back guarantee and after 6 or 7 tries did talk to a "supervisor" and same foreign accent and same story. I did actually get an email saying they were refunding my account the whole $87.13, but I'll believe it when I see it. I contacted the police dept. in Hollywood Florida as well as the town commission.

I got replies from both of them and they would like to do something to help but need more people to complain.

Everyone needs to send them a complaint and flood their office. Let's get 'em!

Charged my credit card $79.95-$85.95-$29.95 for free sample.

I received the supposed free natures acai berry for shipping cost only-instead I was charged every 2 weeks for belonging to this company from my credit card 800-983**** Icalled but the explanation of what I am getting for my money is nothing-sounds like its a donation. They did cancel my account but I need to know who to report this too. Nothing was in the packet to let me know I was supposed to call them in 15 days to cancel all these thing. I did get mine canceled and an address. 305 broadway 11 newyork 10013.

Acaiberry supreme is a scam!

Acai berry supreme site is a scam. Advertising is misleading. I ordered my trial bottle in Dec and didn't receive it until Jan. My credit card was charged 88.62 and 5.95 three times by Feb 5. I have spoken to a rep three times and I am told that there data base doesn't show the charges that I am claiming. I have been trying to resolve this problem since Dec 08. So far my trial bottle of acai berry has cost me 100.00. Does anyone have any recommendations to get this problem resolved or a solution to me getting my money back?

Acia pure is a pure rip off -cannot cancel

advertised as a 30 day free trial until you read the small print and find out it is a 14 day free trial. then i tried to canel my order. the web site they give on the 800 number on the bottle is a sham. the phone number given in another complaint i read now cuts off as if blocking calls. so, there is no way to cancel the order, and you don't know how the charge is going to appear on your account, so you can't block it either. i would appreciate any assistance from others who have perhaps found a way around acia pure
