Acai Berry complaint by SweetJC
I requested a sample of the Pure Acai berry from https://acai.secure9.com/?S=A1R3&P=4&X=15092&SN=acai.performanceproductsusa.com, and tried the product. Since I did not receive any results, I took myself off of the convenient home delivery plan and sent the other product back that was sent due to the "convenient home delivery plan". I ordered the sample at the beginning of August and returned the other product, unopened, on Saturday, 8/23/08, which means they should have received it by the 31st. Well, I called since I had not received a refund and was told that I would have received a refund, "if" I had returned the product within 30 days of ordering the sample. The representative kept stressing this. I did return it within the appropriate time frame, unopened, which leads me to believe that the whole thing is a scam. Please make sure that if you return anything, send it certified, with a return receipt. I don't think there is anything else I can do.

I am sorry I did not find this website before I ordered the trial Acai 

Pure. On 12/22 I received not only the AcaiPure but Hoodia Gum and Hoodia Water and a deduction of $44.85 from my acct. Apparently I missed checking a little box. The 12 pieces of gum were $10 and the tiny Hoodia Water was $30 (with no instructions how to use). I called on Dec. 23 and cancelled and rec'd a cancellation #. I sent the entire package on Dec. 24 via UPS ($8.75). Because of Christmas & New Years the package was delv'd 1/6; one day short of the 14 day trial period (they did not take the holidays into account). On 1/8 they deducted another $40 from my acct. because it was 1 day shy of delivery. They then charged me 2 restocking fees and 2 postage fees even though I only received 1 pkg. They also sent my name to a Fit Factory (again because I missed the little box) and without notifying me they deducted $30 from my account. This has been a nightmare. I would not have ordered if Oprah had not recommended. It cost me both time, money and aggrevation.

We appreciate forums such as Pissed Consumer that allow for customers of all products to vent or state their beliefs concerning a given product. This usually takes less than 5 minutes.

well I ordered my sample and did'nt get it yet. Tryed calling and e-mailing same answer and same result. How can I get my money back?

Your refund can not be sent to the credit card that you charged this to as it has been canceled. Please mail check to my home address that you have on file. thank you
