Warning!Do not fall victim to the Acai Berry trial scam.
I ordered a Free Trial of the Acai Berry for $3.95 (shipping) and in doing so I unknowingly agreed to a monthly membership which was obscured in the fine print.
The Extreme Acai Berry Company DBA Fullfillment Company charged my account $89.31 after 14 days
and refused to accept the return of their product with the seal unbroken and would not reverse the $89.31 charge.
I have placed this charge in dispute with my credit card company.
This company is a fraud and should be put out of business. Please share this information with friends and family, so they will not become a victim of these types of Free Trial Scams!

| 33. Written by susan, on 27-10-2008 23:06 I also fell for this scam. I tried to cancel within the 14 days but no one answers the phone. It is constantly busy. I have since been charged $89. 31 and on top of that, I never even received the product (not that I want it though). After looking over the website again, I found their address, it says they are located in Florida. I filed a complaint with Florida's BBB, turns out the company is not located in Florida. The address they provide is actually not their address. They are based out of Utah. Florida's BBB actually forwarded my complaint to the appropriate BBB in Utah. | 34. Written by Dennis, on 24-10-2008 12:40 I know how you guys can get your money back. 1. Get a prepaid gift/visa card. 2. Make sure there is only $3.95 left on the card. 3. Go to the site and purchase the $3.95 sample bottle. 4. Call them and cancel when you get the bottle. (You really don't need to do this since there is only $3.95 on the card, but just to follow the their terms.) 5. Go to ebay and sell the bottle. They go for $40 + ![]() |
35. Written by stopped them before they got m, on 24-10-2008 10:07 i did order the product. didnt' see the complaints until afterward - luckily i went back to the search engine and found them. i called my credit card company and reported the card as "lost" to avoid future charges. the shipping is charged (haven't received the product yet) but that's fine, i can deal with $5.95 vs. $88.95 per month! as others did, i called the customer service number only to find the call disconneted as soon as it's made..... cancel your cards to avoid charges!!!
36. Written by jackie, on 22-10-2008 18:48 so i am not alone. I complained with the FTC. Maybe you should too so that they'll flag this company and start investigating it.980
37. Written by Acai Scammy!, on 22-10-2008 11:59 DO NOT sign up for this trial offer of Acai Berry. My checking account was charged immediately for the $3.95 (s&h) and still no delivery of the product to me yet. I did read the terms before accepting and was aware of the possible $89 charge if membership was not cancelled within 14 days. However, all phone numbers are fake... the lines are either busy or you are greeted by an automated menu and placed on hold FOREVER! There is no person to speak to ~ I called my bank today and had to completely cancel my checking account and recieve a number account number so they are unable to take anymore of MY money. I'm sorry for those who have suffered from these fake, low-life, scamming, fraudulent, individuals who call themselves humans and call this a business. They should be caught, forced to reimburse EVERYONE they have scammed and locked up! DON'T FALL FOR IT & good luck if, like me, you already have....

39. Written by Total scam, on 21-10-2008 01:36 OMG. I knew I wasn't the only one. I called to cancel the product not even before the 14 days and talked to somebody who game me a confirmation # and got the name of the person. Come the fifteen day and i get charged the 89 dollars so I'm like okay there is a mistake there shouldn't be a problem on getting my money back, I'm just going to call it in and they should refund my money. Well when I call in a rude rep. tells me there is no such record of me calling in. I'm like can I give u a confirmation # and she's like there is nothing on our records, So I demand to speak to a supervisor. She insists that there is no supervisor available. No supervisor my ***. How is she going to tell me there is no supervisor available and in order to possibly get a return is to send in a copy of my phone history to show that I called in before the fourteen days. I'm like no problem i have no problem doing that but I am not satisfied with her response on how there is no record. Plus I am not about to just hang up and not have the opportunity to speak to a supervisor. I still insist that I have a confirmation # and doesn't bother to check if infact it is valid, she just keeps telling me the same thing "No supervisor, Send in ur phone history" By this time I am super pissed and start telling her that this is a scam. She replies and says no. But as I can see this is a total scam and innocent people should be warned. By the way suppposenly we might get our money back by not accepting the product/order when the ups guy comes to my door and geting the tracking# and call back a supervisor. That's only after my husband called back and after a half hour discusing with the supervisor how I did my part by cancelling the product on time and that they should do theirs by notating the cancellation on the accts. I might add it must have took a lot for my husband to convince that supervisor because he kept going back and forth for 30 mins fighting for our money back. Don't let this people take ur hard earned money. People beware and good luck on people who have been scamed already on geting their money back.
40. Written by Xanthiar, on 08-10-2008 18:46 Well im glad i research things before I buy them, Im glad that I didnt order it seeing the hundreds that have been scammed, my question is, If you order it, and you call to cancel within the 14 days, do they cancel it? Or is that a scam too?
